Three Ways You Can Start Attracting More Good Things Into Your Life

Attracting good things into your life doesn't require you to be "woo-woo" or even vaguely spiritual. In this month's newsletter, we looked at the science around this, and in the last blog post we explored the first steps you could take if you were stuck in a negative place or have had a run of "bad luck". In this blog post, we're going to explore your next steps with the three things you can do to start bringing more positive things into your world.

1. Get A Clear Vision

To spot all the incredible opportunities that cross your path, you need to be focused on the right things. That means you need to have some idea of what it is you want in your future. If you don’t know what good things you want to attract, then you’re not going to have much success.

Therefore, you must take time out to get clear on your vision – how do you want your life to look? What would you like to attract? For mums and mumpreneurs, this can be a particularly difficult task as we've been so used to putting our lives on hold and just making it through the day! But consider this your permission to take time to think about what you want.

2. Daily Reminders

Such as a vision board. Spending time getting a clear vision is all well and good, but if you then forget all about it in the business of daily life, your time will have been wasted. Instead, you need to find ways to remind yourself of your vision each day.

There are numerous ways you can make this happen. For example, some people love to create a vision board and then put it up on their wall where they'll see it regularly. Other ideas include writing keywords on your mirror, creating a collage background for your phone or computer, and writing out your vision and reading through it each morning. There's no right or wrong way of doing this. It's just a case of finding what works for you.

The idea is to keep your vision in your mind so that your brain delivers the information that will help you achieve this rather than filtering it out.

3. Expect It To Happen

Finally, you need to expect that this vision is going to happen! However, you also need to let go of any attachment to these outcomes or longing for them. Otherwise, your mind slips back into focusing on what you don't have at the moment.

Instead, it's about going about your daily life with the confidence that the vision is yours. Some people talk about this as "living as if it is yours now".

If that's helpful for you, then think of it this way. However, for others, it can be confusing and can even encourage them to do things such as overspend which in the end brings them back to negative thinking. If that’s likely to be you, then expect these good things to happen, know that they are coming your way. When you can think like this, it’s amazing how differently you can view the world.
