How can you start attracting more of what you want into your life? Earlier this month, we looked at the law of attraction and the lessons we've learned from using it. But now it's time to step into it and use this law in your everyday life. That’s why we’re sharing our top three ways in which you can easily use it. Don’t feel like you need to start all of them at once. Pick one that feels most comfortable and start there.
A daily gratitude practice is useful for the law of attraction because it helps you get in the right frame of mind. As we know, for you to attract good things, you need to be having positive thoughts. This is where many people can struggle if they’re used to thinking negatively.
Gratitude allows you to ease yourself into a different way of thinking. Over time, it can change your mindset as you start to recognise how much you have to be grateful for in life. It switches your focus from what you don’t have to what you do.
2. Get Clear On What You Want
It sounds simple, but it's surprising how many people aren't sure what they really want in life. Many just know what it is they don't want. But with the law of attraction, if your thoughts revolve around what you don't want, that's what you'll attract into your life.
A helpful way to change your focus is to create a vision board. This can be filled with words and images of what you want to attract. You can then place this somewhere in your home, where you can look at it multiple times a day, reminding yourself of what you want to attract.
Before a sportsperson competes in a race, they have already run it many times. That’s because they are coached to visualise it repeatedly. Training the mind as well as the body has become a big part of the sports world. They’re encouraged to imagine races down to the smallest details. That's because our brains react in the same way when imagining something as if we're really there.
Visualising the life you want in the future as if you’re living it right now, in that very moment, will train your brain to live that life. When you feel as if you would feel in your new world, you again change your thinking. It is a great way to begin practising the law of attraction.
Remember, don’t overwhelm yourself by trying to do all of these at once, especially if you’re new to the concept of the law of attraction. Choose the one that most appeals to it and give it your all.
